Jules Kendrick will be joining the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards (JICWEBS) – the cross-industry committee who define best practice for digital advertising – as its new CEO.
Kendrick joins from Business Insider, where she was client director for UK and EMEA. Prior to this, she held roles at Mumsnet.com, Amazon UK and Guardian & Observer.
“I’m excited to join JICWEBS at such an important time, both for the business and the industry,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to working with our team and our stakeholders to build on the great achievements already made towards ensuring our digital ad industry raises standards to create creater trust and transparency for our advertisers.”
JICWEBS now boasts over 130 signatores, having grown rapidly over the past 12 months.

Jules’s impressive track record and commercial, technology and media experience made our decision both easy and unanimous.”

Kendrick commences her new role on November 12.
