John Brown, managing director of John Brown Publishing, has been awarded the 1997 Marcus Morris Award by the PPA for outstanding contribution to magazine publishing. Instinct, understanding, confidence and creativity are all recognised in this award.
As well as Viz and Bizarre John Brown Publishing also produces Classic FM Magazine and the Virgin Atlantic customer title Hot Air .
