July – December 1997 ABCs- Football Magazine Sector
Most of the titles in this sector have experienced a drop in circulation compared to the same period in the previous year. The European Championship probably helped boost figures back in 1996 and with the World Cup just around the corner the next few months will probably see a pick up in circulation for the titles in this sector. For now the top circulation figure goes to Match, despite experiencing a 23% fall in circulation. The glossy Four Four Two shows the best upturn of the period, with a 4% increase compared to last year’s period.
