June 1999 RAJAR – Local Commercial Stations

Of the non-London local commercial stations, reporting in the latest RAJAR period, West Sound FM posted the most impressive performance with the highest shares of Listening (33.2%) and Weekly Reach (49%).

Other notable performers include Orchard FM and Channel 103. Orchard FM recorded the second highest Share of Listening (30.4%) of all local commercial stations, with Channel 103 a close third (28.6%). Both stations had Weekly (%) Reaches of 45% and 44% respectively.

As the RAJAR survey is now operating under a new methodology, year on year comparisons are prohibited.
