Kim Wilde Joins Magic 105.4

Kim Wilde is joining Bauer Media’s Magic 105.4 to launch a brand new weekend show.

As part of a refreshed line up at the weekend, Magic’s Secret Songs will be presented by celebrity mum, gardening enthusiast and 80s icon Kim Wilde and air on Sunday afternoons from 12 noon until 3pm.

Wilde’s first Secret Songs will be broadcast on Sunday 7 September.

At the latest RAJARs, for the second quarter of 2008, Magic topped all other London stations in terms of weekly reach, with over two million listeners (see Magic Races Ahead as Top Station In London).

Adrian Stewart, programme director, Magic 105.4, said: “We are delighted to have Kim on board for this fantastic new show.

“Magic’s Secret Songs will be an important part of our new weekend programming mix on Magic 105.4 and Kim’s heritage in the classic 80s music scene means she is the perfect host for this show.”

Wilde said: “I am really looking forward to presenting this show. It is perfect for me as I have a huge passion for all music and the way it can hold such a power over our emotions as listeners. It’s going to be a great show.”
