Kiss 100 has announced an independent production deal between its newly formed television arm Kiss TV and cable network L!ve TV. Under the 12 month contract Kiss TV will provide 4 one-hour shows to L!ve TV each week: Kiss Clubs, Kiss Music, Kiss Lifestyle and Kiss Classics.
The first programme to be broadcast will be Kiss Clubs on May 30 with the remaining three programmes to be broadcast on the following consecutive nights. All shows will be screened between 12.30am and 1.30am.
Kiss TV says that its output will be ‘fresh, fast-paced programmes with an eclectic mix of music, clubs and lifestyle.’ There will be dance videos coupled with original production material and presenters will be from the existing Kiss 100 team of DJs and other staff.
The four main concepts behind Kiss TV’s programming concentrates on different aspects of dance music lifestyle:
Kiss Clubs – a weekly look at club happenings and definitive tv guide to what is happening among top clubs and bars with DJ profiles
Kiss Music – a specialist guide to dance music featuring news, views and reviews, artist and record label profiles and the Kiss TV charts
Kiss Lifestyle – a range of features which will include fashion updates, gadgets, hi-fi, cars and environmental issues. Vox-Pops in the street and soap-box opinions will also be regular features
Kiss Classics – a nostalgic look at the dance music classics of the past five years – and every aspect of culture at that time – from clothes to cars to clubs
