Kiss unveils new mobile streaming service

Kiss Logos Bauer Media’s national radio brand Kiss has introduced a new mobile streaming service.

Currently, the Kiss Kube “listen live, listen again” media player carries a wide range of the brand’s network daytime and specialist audio output online.

This offering will now also be available on the iPhone/iPod Touch platform, in what Bauer says is a radio industry first.

Bruce Mitchell, Kiss head of digital, said: “The Kiss Kube mobile player will create a real difference to the mobile world inhabited by our tech-savvy listeners and is yet another example of our ability to innovate ahead of the competition.

“No other UK radio station provides this type of unique listen live, listen again player.”

Kurt Edwards, Bauer Media’s digital head of sales, added: “The Kiss Kube mobile player opens up a whole host of commercial opportunities for clients and we are delighted to take such a distinct and compelling launch to market, as mobile internet is rapidly transforming the way our consumers access content online.”
