Laser To Sell For New Irish Channel
TV3, Ireland’s first independent commercial television network, announced today the appointment of Laser as it sales house. The free terrestrial station will launch this September.
TV3 will provide an advertiser supported, national, free-to-air, entertainment and information service, targeting the 15-44 year old age group.
Rick Hetherington, managing director of TV3, said: “This is Ireland’s biggest television development since the launch of RTE’s second channel. TV3 is 100% commercially funded and totally reliant on advertising support. Our product is programming and that is rooted in its relevance to the Irish marketplace. It’s an exciting time for viewers and advertisers.”
