Last Episode Of Extras Gets 3.4 Million

Ricky Gervais The final episode of Ricky Gervais’ comedy Extras drew 3.4 million adult viewers on average to BBC Two last night, taking a 16.5% audience share at 9pm.

That Mitchell And Webb Look followed with 2.3 million, indicating an 11% viewing share. On at the same time, Ancient Rome: The Rise And Fall Of An Empire on BBC One was watched by 3.6 million (17.5%), whilst ITV1 was the clear winner in the 9pm to 10pm slot, with Ladette To Lady taking 4.7 million adult viewers (23%).

Emmerdale also performed well for ITV1, gaining an average adult audience of more than seven million (40%), whilst architecture programme, How London Was Built, was seen by more than four million (21%) and The Bill took just over five million, a 24.6% share.

No Going Back: More Chaos At The Castle, an update on a group of lawyers who left their jobs in London behind to renovate an 18th century French chateau, drew almost two million adult viewers to Channel 4, whilst the two UEFA Cup football matches on Five took 1.3 million and two million adult viewers respectively.
