Leeds United has signed a production deal with a major media company in order to launch its own Pay-Per-View channel. The club, which has been considering launching such a channel for some time (subscribers see Leeds United Score A TV Channel ), is also in discussions with General Cable and Cable & Wireless to secure a carriage deal. The identity of the production partner is being kept under wraps at the moment, though Yorkshire Tyne-Tees is understood to be a possibility.
The channel hopes to launch by the end of the year and would broadcast for 3 hours per day in the Leeds area.
