Leo Burnett Takes Grand Prix At Cannes

Leo Burnett has scooped the Grand Prix award at this year’s Cannes International Advertising Festival. The agency won the award in the Press and Posters section for its Mercedes-Benz campaign entitled ‘Skidmarks’.

Also in the Press and Posters section, Almap/BBDO won the gold award for the UK for its work with Autan Insect Repellant in the campaign called ‘Chicory’.

The Cannes International Advertising Festival is broadcasting live results of its two award ceremonies on the Internet.

The Festival has hired Web design firm Hypermedia to create the site which will also contain event information, short-lists and other news. The film awards will be announced on Saturday 28 June at 7pm.
