Liverpool’s Crash FM Launch Endorsed By Guinness
The launch of Merseyside’s new alternative dance and rock station, 107 Crash FM, is to be sponsored by Guinness in a £100,000 advertising launch campaign.
The Guinness promotion will appear on buses, TV, cinema and in the press as well as at the gigs and concerts which are planned for the first six weeks of broadcasting. The deal was put together by Ashley Wirashina at The Network.
Crash begins broadcasting on Friday 27 March at 1:07pm. The national sales contract has been awarded to Katz, with the station being sold alongside Xfm in London and Surf in Brighton.
Crash is targeting an audience of 15-34 year olds and aims to get a weekly audience of 108,000. The station was awarded the small scale ILR licence by the Radio Authority in April last year (subscribers see Two New Radio Stations For Merseyside).
