LNR Moves Sales In-House

London News Radio has said that it will be moving its sales operation in-house and will no longer trade through Media Sales and Marketing.

It is reported that Nigel Reeve, managing director of LNR, is keen to have sales handled by staff who have a close affinity with the station and he believes the best way to achieve this is to have an in-house sales team. The move has also prompted renewed speculation that GWR, which bought a 31% in LNR in February *GWR Buys Into London Radio, is considering setting up its own sales house.
