Loaded Claims 26% Of All July Ad Pages
IPC is claiming that Loaded magazine has taken market leadership in the younger men’s lifestyle magazine sector with a 26% share of all advertising pages for July issues.
In an internal review of pages, Loaded achieved 54.2 pages in comparison to Sky with 44.3, FHM with 45.8, The Face with 35 and I-D with 28.8.
Karen Swan, Advertisement Manager says: “Our calculations show that we have doubled our share of ad pagination since the same period last year, but what is more interesting is that there were nearly 40 more pages of advertising available for the whole younger men’s market this year.” Loaded had an ABC for Jul-Dec 1994 of 95,782; Sky’s ABC figure for the same period was 155,133.
