IPC’s Loaded is to celebrate the millenium with a total 100 different covers for its January 2000 issue, each celebrating a cultural icon from this century, including Laurel & Hardy, Mohammed Ali, Basil Brush, and Mary Whitehouse.
The issue, which breaks records for amount of different covers it has produced, will distribute them evenly throughout the UK. Each of the front covers will be displayed on a two sided poster and stickers inside the issue.
Publisher Adrian Pettett said: “Loaded has always been the most maverick of titles maintaining its own agenda and the 100 covers initiative is a great way to break out of the confines of the marketplace. Once again Loaded has led the way in magazine innovation and managed to achieve a world record in the process.”
