Loaded Partners With Ford For One-Shot Summer Special

IPC Ignite’s men’s lifestyle magazine Loaded has partnered with Ford to produce a one-shot summer special that will see the magazine devote its entire advertising space to the car manufacturer.
The 140 page Loaded Summer Special will be on sale throughout the summer promoting Ford’s new Fiesta range. As the magazine’s sole advertiser, Ford has secured various advertisements and a sponsored eight page feature on the best summer roadtrips. Based around the new Fiesta slogan ‘get out more’ the package is intended to highlight the car manufacturer’s brand values.
IPC Ignite’s ad director, Karl Marsden, said: “Selling the Loaded Summer Special‘s entire advertising space to just one company, for one brand, is a first for IPC. Working closely with Mindshare on this partnership with Ford, clearly shows their belief in Loaded‘s ability to drive sales and is another great coup for the IPC ignite! advertisement team going forward.”
The deal was brokered by IPC ignite!’s business development manager Andrew Sanders and senior sales executive Oliver Scull. The media space was bought for Ford through Tony Evans, business director at Mindshare.
The Loaded Summer Special, which represents the first time that IPC Ignite has ventured into the one-shot publishing arena, goes on sale in August priced at £1.99
