The Local Radio Company (TLRC) has announced the acquisition of Wessex Broadcasting Limited for an undisclosed sum.
Wessex Broadcasting operates Wessex FM which broadcasts local programmes from Dorchester across West Dorset. The company is also a lead shareholder in South West Sussex Radio Limited, holding a 43% share.
TLRC also operates eight other stations including Spire FM, Plymouth Sound FM/AM and Cheltenham Radio.
