Lombard Sponsors New Cricket Competition

An Under-15 Cricket World Cup is to be held for the first time in 1996, with the final to take place at Lords – eight countries are to take part.

The competition, which is to be televised, may become a four-yearly event. Lombard plc’s sponsorship is to the tune of £500,000.
