London Radio Launch

London Radio, replacing LBC on October 5, has announced that its two London speech services will be known as London News 97.3FM and London NewsTalk 1152AM The names and services have been changed since Reuters bought the licences in May. The station will aim to capture a younger, more male and upmarket audience than LBC, but without losing current listeners. New younger presenters have been appointed to work alongside LBC regulars such as Frank Bough and Brian Hayes.
