Lost World Cashes In

It is estimated that The Lost World, the sequel to Jurassic Park, grossed £5.66m on its opening weekend. While this beats the opening figure achieved by Jurassic Park, which was £4.87m in 1993, it failed to match Independence Day which took £6.9m in its first three days last year.
