Press attempts to reveal the identity of this week’s £18m National Lottery winner have caused the Government to react. Complaints that rules to keep winners’ names secrets are being abused by some newspapers have led National Heritage minister Iain Sproat to say that protests could go to the Press Complaints Commission.
