Love Island‘s most-watched episode so far this series attracted more than 5.2 million viewers across four screens, according to the latest BARB viewing data.
The episode aired on ITV2 on Thursday, 7 July* and tops BARB’s dashboard of most-watched programmes across TV set, PC, laptop, tablet and smartphone for all BARB-subscribing broadcast channels and subscription video-on-demand services for that week.
This marks Love Island‘s biggest audience since the penultimate episode of the 2019 series which was bigger than the 2019 final.
The lowest-viewed episode of the reality dating show aired on Tuesday, 5 July* but still registered as the tenth most-viewed programme with 4.45 million viewers.
ITV programmes made up all of BARB’s top ten most-viewed programmes across four screens in the week ending 10 July* with Coronation Street and McDonald & Dodds joining Love Island episodes in the rankings.
The last time ITV showed all of the top 10 programmes was week 15 with shows including The Thief His Wife and The Canoe, Britain’s Got Talent, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
