The Builder Group is to relaunch RIBA Journal, the Royal Institute of British Architects’ magazine, on 31 August.
The relaunch comes 6 months after the Royal Institute of British Architects pulled out of the joint venture and the Builder Group assumed full ownership.
The magazine was an institutional title but it will become more professional and news-orientated, and will switch from saddle-stitched to perfect bound.
Quantum Publishing is to invest more than £150,000 in improving its two titles, Hotel and Restaurant Magazineand Publican, in a bid to increase its share of the market.
The publisher intends to expand news coverage as well as invest in research and circulation on the two titles.
