Emap has secured a multi-platform advertising deal with Clear Channel Entertainment to promote Shania Twain’s forthcoming UK tour across its range of Magic branded media.
The deal will include promotional activity across Magic TV, Magic North Network, Magic Digital and Magic online. Clear Channel will also be promoting the tour across Emap’s Hallam FM, Metro Radio and Key 103 brands.
The landmark initiative represents the first time that Magic has run a multi-platform deal with a tour promoter and follows a successful campaign to promote Linkin Park across Emap’s Kerrang! brand earlier this year (see Emap Seals Multi-Platform Ad Deal With Clear Channel).
Commenting on the campaign, Jayne Simpson, concert manager at Emap Performance Interactive, said: “Concert promotion is an area which is perfectly suited to multi-platform campaigns across strong music media brands.”
She added: “Clear Channel are leading the way in the innovative marketing of concert tours in the UK and Emap are delighted to be able to offer them strategic solutions which will target exactly the right demographic.”
Emap’s Kiss and Big City radio station’s recently secured an exclusive advertising deal with Warner Brothers to promote the launch of the third and final instalment of the Matrix trilogy, Matrix Revolutions (see Emap’s Kiss And Big City To Promote Matrix Movie).
