MAGtrack To Launch Net Research Tool
MAGtrack, the media research company, is to launch its new NETtest product in July. The tool will allow publishers with Web magazines to evaluate the visitors who accessing their sites. Rather than quantifying ‘hits’ to particular pages, NETtrack will provide information such as what types of readers are accessing a site and what articles they are reading. It will also assess how long users spend reading a particular site.
MAGtrack managing director Ian Owen-Ward said: “Most news providers either have an Internet presence or are in the process of developing a Web site, but selling advertising on the Net is proving harder than expected. Most companies have no idea who is accessing their pages or how long they spend reading them – NETtests will provide that information.”
