Marie Claire Editor Leaving
Glenda Bailey, editor of UK Marie Claire since its launch in 1988 is leaving to become editor of American Marie Claire in March.
Nigel Davidson, chairman of European Magazines, the joint IPC Magazines – Groupe Marie Claire publishing company said, “Glenda has done a brilliant job over the last eight years. The magazine is one of the great publishing successes of recent years.”
The departure of Glenda Bailey comes just a few months after Company editor Mandi Norwood took over as editor of Marie Claire rival Cosmopolitan. No successor is yet named.
