May TV Viewing Round-Up
Channel 4/S4C was the only terrestrial channel to actually see an increase in its audience share year-on-year, rising 0.2 percentage points in this period to 10.6%. ITV dropped 1.4 percentage points to 32.8%, BBC1 fell by 1.5 percentage points to 30.5% and BBC2 lost 1.6 percentage points to hold an 11.3% share.
C5 achieved a share of 2.9% in its second month on air. The ‘other’ cable and satellite channels managed to expand their total share by 1.3 percentage points to 11.4%.
