McCann Erickson has hived off its entire media department into a new media dependent called Universal McCann, as of today; Universal is a 100% owned subsidiary of McCanns.
The company will remain within the McCanns building “for the foreseeable future.” The managing director will be Trista Grant, but the structure of the board is not yet finalised.
