McCanns In Talks With Ralston

McCann Erickson are talking with Barker and Ralston about a potential link up between the two companies.

A spokes-person for McCann told Newsline that the reports of a full-scale take-over of Ralston by the international agency are wildly over exaggerated; discussions are still in the preliminary stages.

It is known that Barker and Ralston need some extra professional weight behind them to secure their £20 million Abbey National Account. McCann, meanwhile, is keen to add a financial business to its client list. If the deal did go ahead Ralston would also benefit from McCann’s European connections.
