Mccanns Merger
H.K.McCann is to merge with its sister agency, McCann-Erickson to form a new agency; H.K.McCanns will cease to exist as of Monday 8 August. Clients of both agencies are said to be happy with the move, and all of H.K.McCann’s staff will transfer to McCann-Ericksons.
Mark Gault, managing director of H.K.McCann’s is to become managing director of the new agency. Murray Dudgeon stays as European media director, Tracy Lovatt, joint media director at McCann Erickson and Trista Grant, media director at H.K, will become joint UK media directors of the new agency.
Some staff will remain at H.K’s offices in Fitzroy Street because McCann’s offices are too small to hold them all.
