McDonalds – the fast food chain – has today announced a sponsorship deal with the Football Association Premier League.
The FA Premier League deal, worth £1.75m a year to the Premier League Clubs is for two years with a further two year option. The sponsorship gives McDonalds Official Restaurant status and the right to use the FA Premier League logo in all marketing activity. Of the £1.75m, nearly £1m will go towards sponsorship of youth and family initiatives, including sponsorship of some clubs’ family stands.
