McDonalds Remains Top Radio Spender
According to Register Meal figures released by the RAB, the top 4 radio advertisers in 1995 spent more than £3 million each, in comparison to 1994 where only one spent that figure.
The top ten advertisers all spent over £2 million and the top 20 spent over £1 million. In 1994 you only had to spend £1 million to reach the top ten. Of last year’s list, 11 still make this year’s top 20. New big spenders on radio include Buena Vista, Kingsway, BSkyB, Camelot, Ministry of Defence and Prudential Assurance. The top 20 also sees the return of Coca-Cola, Ford and British Telecom.
