Pat Falconer is to become managing director of London Sports Radio, one of the bidders for the radio licences to be awarded later this year.
Falconer left Independent Radio Sales last month after it was announced that the company was to be sold to the Katz Corporation (Newsline 2/6). The former managing director has denied that the move will cause any contractual difficulties with his former employers, following the recent legal difficulties suffered by Charlie Cox of London Radio News.
