Media Business Group Wins BCA

The Media Business Group has beaten Zenith Media to the £23m press buying business for the Book Club Associates (BCA) book and music club account. Zenith has retained the £450,000 BCA broadcast buying.
Watson Ward Albert Varndell has held the account for the past five years. Ken Mansfield, who resigned as media director at WWAV earlier this year is to join TMBG to run the account.
BCA mainly focuses on direct-response press ads and newspaper inserts. BCA is owned by Reed Elsevier and the German publishing corporation Bertelsmann.
