Media Week today launches its own website, at http://www.mediaweek.co.uk. The site has been designed by MediaTel and becomes a member of MediaTel’s Media Village (http://www.mediavillage.mediatel.co.uk/). The village is also host to the websites of the IPA, NRS and RAJAR, amongst many others.
The Media Week site will initially draw content from the printed publication and will be updated weekly. Eventually though, editor Conor Dignam is planning to offer material and services not available in the magazine. Also, an archive of previous features and stories will be built into the site.
MediaTel is also sponsoring Media Week‘s new interactive page in the magazine. Dignam says: “As the link with MediaTel shows, it will also give us the chance to link Media Week‘s content with other media brands via the internet. This is an area that everyone in our industry is exploring”.
