Mediaforce, the regional sales house has acquired fellow sales house Newspaper Representations, to take effect in the New Year. Mediaforce has also acquired Selling Point, the specialist magazine sales operation.
The new media sales company, which will be based in Mediaforce’s Fleet Street offices, will now comprise of Mediaforce, Taskforce, News Reps and Selling Point. Russell Whitehair, chairman of both News Reps and Selling Point will become managing director of a new News Reps division of the Mediaforce Group. The Mediaforce Group will now become the largest representation business.
Mediaforce handles the sales for, amongst others, Adscene titles, Tindle Newspapers, Trinity’s Scottish titles and Portsmouth and Sunderland titles. News Reps handles Johnston Press, North Wales titles and Sottish County Press titles, amongst others.
