MediaTel Group, in association with Medionyx, will host its latest seminar on the ‘Future of Radio’, with top industry figures promising a lively and eventful session.
With panellists including chief executive of GCap Media, Ralph Bernard, whose company’s Q3 results will have been released the previous day, the debate will undoubtedly be memorable, with valuable insight into the medium’s future direction revealed.
Will radio be left behind as internet advertising grows? Does digital radio have a problem, and if so, what can it do to reassert itself in today’s cross-platform, over saturated media environment? These are some of the questions the seminar’s panellists will aim to answer, with controversial opinions sure to come from the likes of media journalist Ray Snoddy.
Chaired by BBC media correspondent Torin Douglas, other panellists such as Simon Cole, chief executive of UBC Media, and Nathalie Schwarz, director of radio at Channel 4, will discuss whether the radio industry can make money out of podcasting and downloads, and how commercial radio should be winning listeners from the BBC.
The event will take place on Wednesday 29 November at One Great George Street, London, W1, from 9.30am, with tickets priced at £115 + VAT. To book tickets, click here.
MediaTel Insight’s Digital Radio Executive Report will be available for a £50 discount to delegates, now £175.
