There will be more than 100 mergers and acquisitions in the European media sector this year, as the broader. The Insights report says that media deals will be valued at €20 billion (£13.5 billion) in Europe this year, as the number of transactions exceeds 100. PwC counts only those deals valued at €10 million or more and which involve the transfer of at least 10% of company.
