MediaTel Launches Cable And Satellite Database On Internet

MediaTel’s new Cable and Satellite Database has now launched onto the Internet.

The new database includes full details on all UK and major European cable and Satellite stations including a view all/print all facility which provides an up-to-date and concise synopsis of the stations. Multiple station reports are available for Astra and ITC data and also contact details and basic station information. Choosing stations is now available via Free Text Search or Fast Search facility.

Users can search Cable Providers by Region and MSO, and full ITC Data is available by Franchise Holder and Area. For the first time details on the stations carried by Cable Area is available on MediaTel.

Other reports available include Astra and Eutelsat European Country penetration data, BARB Dish estimates, Cable & Satellite growth projections and Digital penetration projections (such as the number of subscribers British Digital Broadcasting would have by 2002 if it won the digital terrestrial licence).

There is also a comprehensive Glossary of Terms. Many of the reports include MediaTel’s unique spreadsheet software which will download the information from a report into a spreadsheet instantly.
