Mega Profile And Forrest Outdoor Merge In Scotland
![]()
Outdoor advertising group Mega Profile has merged with Forrest Outdoor Media to develop the market for large scale poster sites in Scotland.
The newly consolidated group will be called Mega Forrest and will be jointly owned by the two companies, which hope to grow their business north of the border.
Mega Forrest will aim to drive the popularity of giant posters, which are fast becoming an important part of outdoor media. Mega Profile has seen its portfolio of sites expand significantly and has been working to build partnerships across Europe (see Mega Profile To Head European Giant Poster Consortium).
Mega Profile’s Scottish sites have been used to advertise a range of high-profile brands including Dockers, American Airlines, Renault and the Harry Potter film.
Chris Trainer, chief executive of Forrest Group, commented: “This is a terrific deal for us as it gives us the ability to offer advertising agencies and media buyers access to different and much larger sites. We’ll be looking to develop sites across Scotland and I know that property developers and others will see the benefits a Mega Forrest banner can bring.”
Simon Evans said: ” We are very pleased to be joining forces with Forrest Outdoor Media. They can access some quality sites and I’m certain both our companies will benefit from the merger.”
Forrest Outdoor Media, which recently rebranded from Score Outdoor, was purchased by Clear Channel last year to create a third force in the outdoor market to rival JC Decaux and Maiden (see Score Outdoor Sale To Create Third Force In Market).
