Men In Black, the new sci-fi movie, took over £7m on its opening weekend according to figures from Columbia Tristar. This is slightly more than Independence Day‘s opening takings, though the Men In Black figure includes preview screenings. The film stars Will Smith (who also took a lead role in Independence Day) and Tommy Lee Jones.
