The Mirror Group has formed a special team to develop television sponsorship deals, specifically game shows in a bid to equal News International, who announced a package of sponsorship deals last week (Newsline 12-7). The group’s main objective is to develop new show formats. The Sun’s involvement with Go Bingo is the first time a newspaper has had a stake in a future show, and the Mirror intends to follow that example.
