Middlesex County Press is buying three series of titles from Trinity Newspapers Southern for £3.5m.
The titles were part of the Argus Press series, which Trinity recently acquired The titles are The Slough and Windsor Express series, The Surrey Herald and the Surrey Comet.
NEWS CORPORATION PROFITS
News Corporation yesterday reported a 21.4% rise in third quarter profits after tax to A$262.3m (£120m). However the newspaper profits in the UK slid 15% following its price-cutting campaign.
