Midland Bank, in its first ever TV sponsorship, is to sponsor Moving Story, the new ITV peak-time comedy drama about life in a removal firm. Moving Story is a six-part series, starting on Thursday 26 May.
ITV points out that viewers respond well to TV sponsorship where there is a strong link between sponsor and programme.
Andy Thompson, Sponsorship Manager of Carlton said, “When consumers think of moving house they do not automatically think of banks. This association will communicate Midland Bank’s commitment to offering a wider range of services which includes mortgages. It is also a significant move for Carlton, as this is our first network drama sponsorship.” The creative credits are produced by Chiat Day.
