The cycling Tour Of Britain, otherwise known as the Milk Race is urgently looking for a sponsor as the Milk Marketing Board, backers since 1958, are being abolished on 1st April.
If a new sponsor cannot be found by the end of January, the event will effectively be over. Numerous companies are willing to support parts of the race but the British Cycling Federation has not been able to find a lead name.
