Million Pound Millenium Dome Tube Deal
TDI, the UK outdoor advertising company, are marketing the sponsorship package for the Millenium Dome tube station, North Greenwich. The opportunity offers blanket advertising coverage in the new Jubilee Line station, and marks the first time that a whole tube station, including the London Underground logo, can be used to promote a particular product.
The 24-month package will include, underground, an electronic art / laser projection on a 130 foot long blue glass wall spanning the entire station length, and, above ground, features such as exclusive retail facilities and a twin faced electronic / projection information board which will be visible from the Dome.
The total package is priced in the region of £10 million, but contenders for the sponsorship are as yet unknown.
