MindShare Appoints Jed Glanvill As Managing Director

MindShare has announced that futures director, Jed Glanvill, has been promoted to the role of managing director with effect from 1 January.
The new position will see Glanville assume responsibility for further developing MindShare’s ‘house of media’ proposition, which aims to offer clients strategic thinking, ideas and execution.
Glanville will work closely with communications director, Rosie Faulkner, as well as planning managing partners, Ita Murphy and Martyn Rees, to unite the agency’s communications and planning operations.
Commenting on the appointment, MindShare’s chief executive, Kelly Clark, said: “Jed’s played a big part in MindShare’s success over the past three years. Now the whole company will benefit from his passion and his commitment to getting results.”
Glanvill, who joined MindShare in 2000 from BBJ, added: “MindShare had a fantastic 2003. My job going forward is to make sure we work better so that we deliver even smarter solutions for our clients.”
Simeon Duckworth will take over from Glanvill as futures director, in a role that oversees the agency’s econometrics, consumer insight and data planning divisions. Duckworth joined MindShare from Ogilvy in 1998 as a managing partner with responsibility for brand conometrics and forecasting activities.
Recent research from strategy group, Ocean Consulting, shows that top-level executives at some of the UK’s major consumer media owners believe that MindShare is one the most receptive agencies to innovative idea and approaches (see MediaCom And Carat Identified As Most Admired Agencies).
