Mindshare chief set to leave for Dentsu Aegis

Mark Creighton, chief executive of Mindshare UK, is set to leave the agency for the newly created role of chief operating officer at Dentsu Aegis Network UK and Ireland.

Creighton, whose transfer will depend upon his obligations to WPP-owned Mindshare, will be responsible for driving Dentsu Aegis’ operating model in the UK and will report to the company’s CEO, Tracy De Groose.

Creighton first joined Mindshare in 2010 as chief operating officer, before replacing Jed Glanvill in 2013 as chief executive.

Mindshare’s joint chief executive EMEA, Helen McRae, will take on Creighton’s role in the interim, alongside her current role, until a replacement is found.

“I’d like to thank Mark for his efforts over the past two years in helping to make the Mindshare UK team one of the best in our global network,” said McRae.

“I now look forward to working with that team more closely and continuing to redefine the future of media for our UK clients.”
