MindShare Deputy MD Leaves Before The Business Opens

It is understood that the deputy managing director of MindShare, Mike Wood, is leaving the company to join Portland Outdoor. This news comes before MindShare has even officially opened for business.

In April this year MindShare appointed Simon Rees as managing director (see MindShare Appoints Managing Director), above Wood who has been at JWT for 15 years.

MindShare was formed by the merging of the media arms of Ogily & Mather and JWT in September last year to become the third largest UK media specialist (see WPP Buy Buchanan And Create Mindshare).
