Mirror Group Takes On Racing Post

The Mirror Group has reached an agreement with the trustees of the Racing Post that grants the Group licence to publish the racing daily ‘for a period of at least 10 years.’ This agreement is subject to approval from the DTI. The content of the Racing Post is not expected to be altered.

The Mirror Group’s other horse racing paper, Sporting Life, is to broaden its content and appeal under the hand of People editor Len Gould. Gould is joining a special projects group set up to manage the transition of the Sporting Life into a general daily sports newspaper.
